EMERGENCY ALERTS
BYUH ALERTS With Everbridge
BYUH uses a program called Everbridge to send emergency alerts and messages. These messages are sent out when there is an active emergency that affects BYUH (ex: hurricanes, tsunamis, active shooters, etc).

To receive emergency notifications from BYU–Hawaii's emergency mass notification system, please sign up by following these instructions:
Step 1: Log in to Student Center.
Step 2: Click on 'Main Menu' > 'Self Service' > 'Campus Personal Information' > 'Phone Numbers.'
Step 3: Click on 'Add A Phone Number.'
Step 4: Select the phone type by clicking on the drop-down in the first column and choose 'Campus Alert' from the drop-down list.
Step 5: Enter or update your phone number in the field next to that phone type, then click 'SAVE.'
Sign up for HNL Alert
HNL Alert is the official notification system of the city and county of Honolulu, Hawaii. HNL Alerts sends notifications about severe weather, emergency information, road closures, ocean conditions, water main breaks, etc. Once you sign up, you will receive emails and text notifications with more information on local emergencies.
You can create your account by following these instructions:
Step 1: Search for HNL Alert or click here to begin the sign up process.
Step 2: Scan the HNL Alert QR code on the main page or click here.
Step 3: Select the Sign up option.
Step 4: Enter your details on the sign-up page and follow the steps to finalize your account creation.
